My wife won PhP1,500.00 in guaranteed PhP30,000.00 pot freeze-out tournament at "The Metro Card Club" as an 8th placer in the final table. This is her first time to join a Poker tournament. This reminded me of my 8th place winning on my second tournament, the guaranteed PhP225,000.00 pot freeze-out tournament, where I won PhP8,000.00.
Sadly though that she didn't get the first place position for the coveted guaranteed seat in the PhP5M guaranteed pot tournament on July 2009. Better skill and better luck this week then.
